Delete your account

How to have a login or a whole business deleted from OnSight, and exactly what happens to the information when you do.

Last updated 15 September 2026 · Operated by Hanson & Bosley LLC, Omaha, Nebraska

This page explains how to have an OnSight Payments account deleted — a single login, or a whole business — from the website, the portal, or the iOS and Android apps, and what happens to the information when you do. It follows our Privacy Policy, which has the full detail.

01 · A staff login

If you work for a business that uses OnSight

Your login belongs to the business you work for. The quickest way to have it removed is to ask an owner of that business: they can remove you from the team inside OnSight straight away.

You can also ask us directly. Email support@onsightpayments.com from the email address you sign in with, with the subject Delete my OnSight login and the name of the business. We confirm the request with you, tell the business, and delete the login within 30 days.

02 · A whole business

If you own the business account

An owner of the business can ask for the whole account to be closed and deleted. Email support@onsightpayments.com from an owner’s sign-in address, with the subject Delete my OnSight business account. We confirm who you are before anything is deleted, because deleting a business removes every login and record in it.

03 · What is deleted

What is deleted, and what we have to keep

  • Deleted within 30 days — logins, staff profiles, customer and contact records, jobs, estimates, photographs, files, notes and messages.
  • Kept only as long as the law requires — invoices, payment and refund records, which we must keep for tax, accounting, card-network and dispute purposes. They are then deleted or de-identified.
  • Kept as security and consent evidence — the administrative audit log, and records that a phone number opted in or replied STOP to text messages.
  • Backups — roll off on their own schedule and are not edited one record at a time. Deleted information may remain in a backup for up to 90 days.

04 · Customers of a business

If a business sent you an invoice or a text

If you are a customer of a business that uses OnSight, that business holds your information and decides what happens to it. Ask the business first. If you write to us instead, we will identify the business, pass your request on and help them answer it. To stop text messages at any time, reply STOP.
